Here’s a short overview of the Diablo 3 crafting system which was launched in the beta test. I’ve heard that this Diablo 3 craft guide comes highly recommended and will definitely take a look at it. I will also do a review of the guide later on in my blog.
Today we’re going to be making some slim lock bows. ‘How many bows’ you might ask ‘I’m going to be making today?’ Well 71 Journeyman slim lock bows. Yeah. That’s a ridiculous amount. You want to take a look on my right side. I have 215 fallen teeth, I have 799 subtle essences and I have 1,804 common scraps. So it’s going to be a ridiculous amount of slim lock bows. Let’s go ahead and cross your fingers with me right now. I’ve got my left hand crossed because I’m going to use my right hand to actually navigate.
What we’re going for right now is a 35.1 dps just like my current bow, and I want the attack to be 44 and instead of that vitality, and plus 11 to all stats. So, we want plus 44 attack plus 11 to all stats, and 35.1 dps and that’s going to be coming from the elemental damage. As you can see I have 5 to 13 there. The 35.1 also comes from the increased attack speed, up by 7. As you can see this has a chance from 6 to 7 plus 3 random magic properties.
Let’s go ahead and get into it now. This first bow is…. Crap. We’re just going to keep on making these and throwing them down on the floor. So, once my inventory gets full here we’ll just throw all the ones on the floor and I’ll keep the ones in my inventory that are actually decent. It’s not looking good so far guys but keep those fingers crossed. That one’s actually a decent bow right there. we’ll keep that one in the inventory.
Wow, that would have been a good bow if it was high dps. All right, so we’re just going to keep that one only and the rest we’ll throw down because we don’t really need those. This one’s decent but it’s not really going to sell. That one would be really good, like I said, if it had high dps, but it doesn’t really have high dps so we’re just going to let those chill on the floor for now and we’ll keep this bow on the side here.
Now this Diabo 3 Demon Hunter Guide is just showing you guys how really actually hard it is to get something like this on a bow. Wow, yeah that would have been a really good bow if it was a higher dps but seeing as I’m only three to six [holy] damage it’s not, so. We’ll keep that in the inventory because it’s probably going to be a good bow for someone else to get I figure for free.
All right. It’s not looking so good right now guys, but we do have two bows that are decent but not better than mine. I was really hoping to get something better than mine but it’s not looking that way. We only have about 15 bows left and it will fill up this inventory here not even fully but we are going to disenchant the rest of these bows or salvage the rest of these bows and the ones that I didn’t put in my inventory. I’m also going to keep a couple of them that are higher dps just to try to sell them at the auction house. If I didn’t like this house, I would keep so.
Let us continue on and try to get some more good bows here. 15 more guys. Lets get this 44 attack and 11 all stats.Damn it. That would have been a good bow if there was 30 40 attack at least. But, seeing as it’s not. Six more bows left. No. All right guys, two more bows left. And then one more.
So pretty much all crap bows. I’m going to go ahead and disenchant or salvage all these, here. We’ll keep that one for later and as we salvage we’ll just make more. So pretty much no great bows from all those so far. We’ll keep the high dps ones because those ones will actually sell on the auction house. So any high dps bows we will keep. High is like at least 32 or 33 the rest we will salvage.
Some may ask why we have to salvage item? why don’t sell it for gold? Because of in Diablo series, gold is not that important. Every time we salvage equipment, it will all turn into raw materials used for crafting recipe. Check Diablo 3 Guide for more information about the recipe of each item.
All right, so from there we’re going to go real quickly to the stash and stash some of these bows for later. The rest of these we’ll pick up and try and salvage something from them, be able to actually make a decent bow or a good bow from them. And, we’ll just keep looking for those higher dps bows.
That’s a ridiculous amount of bows here. I’m going to just keep on salvaging these up and just keep on grabbing the ones that are 30 plus, or 32 plus I would say and, yeah, some of these type of bows right here will be able to be given for free like attack plus bows will be able to be given for free to other people, so we’ll keep those there. All right, that seems good. Yep. That’s a ridiculous amount.
I guess it looks like, after salvaging even all these I won’t have enough common scrap and subtle essence because right here is only going to give me seven.I’m just showing you guys how hard it is to get one of these really good bows to have on my character. So that’s why they sell for so much ridiculous amount on the auction house.
If you ever make a bow and it’s just, like, really good like this one here. I would suggest don’t put in on the auction house. Just because it’s worth a lot more than anybody could ever, like, really have on the auction house right now. Because obviously if you’re trying to sell something, you only sell it at for 899.99 and something like this bow here wouldn’t be worth that. It would be worth at least, like, something like 1,501. So that’s why you don’t sell bows like that on auction house ever. You trade them, if you’re going to trade them, you trade them in game with friends that will pay you in installments.
All right, so let’s continue on here and try to make some more bows. So here we are, making some slim locks. All right. Decent bow here guys. 33.1 TVU? Plus 43 attack. This is going to sell on auction house for at least 499 if I wanted to, or I could sell it to one of my friends. So a decent bow from that. Pretty good bow. All right. Decent from that one too. So those two bows I can give to one of my friends or sell on auction house for a decent amount. All right.
Going to disenchant or salvage these ones, and what I’m going to do now is go on over here and talk to armor seller and get a bunch of these bucklers. Why am I getting bucklers? Because this gold here is going to translate to, you guessed it, subtle essences. Let’s see how much I can make from that. That’s three, so I’ll probably stop at around 10k. Now we’re going to go back and see more bows.
That’s going to be about it for the bows, guys. If anybody’s watching this that needs a bow that’s decently good, something like that
Also, I wanted to say to you guys something like a 35.1 dps with no attack on it, this one’s actually better 24.8 with 38 attack and this 27.4 with 42 attack it’s going to be better for Diablo 3 leveling than those other bows that just have higher dps because the 34 attack is just going or 42 or whatever you have on there is just going to out-balance the broad aps of a 35.1. So, you always want to go for a plus attack, it’s a key stat you’re looking for when you’re looking for these bows, so yeah, that is what you’re looking for.
I’m going to get some more crafting materials and try to keep going for some good bows. Today we weren’t that lucky in bows. We were pretty good, we had pretty good bows but not better than what I have on right now. That’s what I was pretty much going for and we didn’t get that. It’s okay though. We will keep trying to get some more bows and what I’m trying to look for is 35.1 with 44 attack and plus 11 to all stats would be awesome. That’s the ideal bow that I’m looking for.
